My screen is a canvas. The paint is made of pixels. The brush is a finger or stylus. This is all designed using evolving technology. Today, phone apps offer screen mobility and functionality comparable to those of desktop programs. It's inspiring to see how just a simple tap on a screen can transform a photo into art.
My journey began in 2011, and I've been exploring the potential and possibilities of mobile art ever since. Over the years, I've honed my creative skills using my phone across multiple platforms and countless apps. I learned that apps come and go over the years. OS updates have made some apps incompatible, and sometimes developers drop out or push forward, making their apps obsolete over time. I continually adapt my style to stay current with the latest digital tools and technologies.Â
I was profoundly shaped by the creations of Reservoir_Dan, the author of the iBook "Appstractions—An iPhoneography Dreamscape," as well as Bob Weil and Nicki Fitz-Gerald, editors of "The Art of iPhone Photography." Their contributions and the innovations of countless app developers have ignited and sustained my passion for appstract art.Â
All the images were produced by me. I hope you can enjoy them.
